General information

KTD Invest is an investment advisory company established in April 2004 by a group of professionals with impressive experience on the Romanian financial market.

The company functions according to the special provisions of the Capital Market Law no. 297 / 2004 and those of the Regulation no. 32 / 2006 issued the Romanian National Securities Commission. Also the company complies with the provisions, control and supervision of the National Securities and Exchange Commission and has a valid license issued by this institution according to the Regulation no. 4 / 1995.

KTD Invest is registered in the Romanian National Securities Commission’s National Registry of supervised entities with number P7RO4CIP7/400001. This can be checked on the Romanian National Securities Commission’s official website following this link.

The nominal capital of the company amounts to RON 100,000, subscribed and paid in full.

The main investor advisory services provided by the company are:

• detailed analysis for all types of financial instruments available on the Romanian capital market, including money market instruments, debt securities, listed shares, derivatives, FOREX instruments, open-end investment funds;
• company reports, market-sector analysis and investment recommendations;
• risk and return analysis and recommendations for any specific financial instrument;
• portfolio management analysis for institutional and private clients;
• evaluation of financial assets;
• recommendations for companies regarding their debt-to-equity ratio, economic strategy and public tenders;
• takeovers, mergers and acquisitions advisory services;
• creating and publishing educational materials and news analysis about the financial markets;
• collaborating with major TV channels and financial newspapers regarding news analysis about financial markets;

Shareholders

The company has six shareholders, both companies and private persons. They are directly involved in the decision making process and they posses significant personal expertise in the key areas for the company’s activity. Also they have a long and successful history of working together to design and implement a large number of projects spreading over at least 2 years prior to the establishment of the company.

All shareholders are committed to sustain and develop the company on the long term by creating the necessary conditions for a sound and stable performance but also with the required dynamics and flexibility implied by the capital market.

Board of directors

The company's direction is overseen by a Board of Directors made up of 3 members with a solid background and a wide experience on the capital market. President of the Board and General Manager of the company is Mr. Iulian Panait and Vice President of the Board is Mr. Emil Ogica. The third member of the board is Mrs. Blegu-Duta Violeta.

Short term objectives

We believe that the best way to serve a client as an investment advisor is to be able also to offer him very good trading conditions in order to implement our strategies and recommendations. This is why as short term objectives we intend to sign introducing broker agreements with at least one Romanian brokerage company and one international on-line broker.

Another short term objective is to launch a internet site with useful educational resources for all types of investors and real time news, quotes and information about Romanian and international financial markets. On this website we want to implement two or three newsletter services for specific sectors of the local and international financial markets.

Long term objectives

In the long term we aim to become a well known brand for the quality of our services to institutional and private investors. This will contribute to our goal of raising the company’s value for shareholders.

Also, our long term strategy includes further efforts to educate the Romanian investors about local and international financial markets. Strengthening the company’s culture, by promoting business ethics, team spirit and professionalism is another important long term objective. We intend to increase the quality of our services by improving the transparency of our activity, a better communication with our clients, direct as well as through mass-media.
